Breakfast
You need to start the day well with a good solid breakfast rich in nourishment which will keep you going most, if not all, of the morning.

Examine and understand the labels on cans and packets 
Even if the advertising says that the contents are low-fat it does not mean that they are necessarily healthy. Learn to understand what the label is saying and watch out for salt and sugar masquerading under different names. 

Water is important 
There is a reason why most medical professionals tell you to drink copious amounts of water every day.
